Heyas, I'm Willow :P Finally quit denying, now I'm almost 3 months on hrt

I'm 27, an insatiable gamer, an abyss driven artist, a lazy college student, an aspiring musician, a soulful massage practitioner, an empathic IHSS provider, an ardent reiki/energy/flow enthusiast, a hopeful gardener, and a desolate yet driven transgender

Been lurking for a few months (seeking answers) and usually find the help I need indirectly. Even made an account, but haven't done anything with it till now. Thought perhaps I could at least try

I've met with my local LGBT groups and found them largely lacking. Though I was able to meet a couple amazing people, it wasn't the community feeling I was hoping for.

Things seem much better here. Whether its the forum forcing people to take it in turns to talk, or a better management system, or members who take the time to helps others and seem to engage in conversation rather than talking merely to talk.. Hopefully I'll find whatever it is I've been looking for some how.

I find the possibilities somewhat inspiring

Hi there, Baiorensu! I've just joined as well. I see we're close age-wise, and I'm also an artist of sorts (a writer), a grad student, and I used to be an insatiable gamer myself (Sega all the way, until they stopped producing consoles, and now I've switched, with some reservation, to Sony). Hope this community helps you in your transition!  :)

Eat. / You will love again the stranger who was your self./ Give wine. Give bread. Give back your heart / to itself, to the stranger who has loved you / all your life, whom you ignored" - Walcott, "Love after Love"

Thanks Gabrielle! I switched to Playstation as well, from Nintendo though; after Gamecube there was nothing left for me but their handheld dept.

And thanks to Izzy! Probably an obligatory reminder.. But still :)

wow YinYanga! I read that as "Almost poetic description of how I feel a swell" :icon_google: Kind of what you might expect after a few months of HRT, eh? :D
