Retouch/Labiaplasty after SRS for nicer look?

I am going to Brassard and I know he does great work but lets face it, no surgeon can give you the "perfect vagina" so I am also saving money for a retouch. Anyone done a retouch/labiaplasty for purely cosmetic reasons? How much was it? What did you do and who did you go to? Was it worth it?

Make sure you ask Dr Brassard or Dr. Bélanger your thoughts.

They have free revisions up to 1 year but you need to ask up front if what you want can be done in the 1 step.

Thank you! I am passable and young and want to live as stealth as possible. Now I know its unrealistic to be 100% stealth, but I would like to be stealth atleast until the guy I am with is serious and marriage becomes a topic

My doc does always do a revision a half year later. He thinks it is not possible to produce a perfect result after the first surgery. Hehas also done some labiaplasty on Suporns work and other surgeons. The result after revision is usually perfect in terms of passing. I will do the revision in a few months. For me a dream will come true then.

Hey Laura, thanks! Thats what I'm hoping for "perfect in terms of passing". Do you mind if I ask how much is your revision and what you are fixing?

My surgeon (Dr. Davis) does free revisions, and stressed that he would want to do one afterwards because he's a perfectionist. You do have to wait several months for all the swelling to go down.  But even on the first pass and with swelling, everyone has commented on how natural I look (and better than many cis).

Im worried about the "free revisions" I feel like they wont do as good a job since they aint getting paid you know? But its probably all in my head....

Hi nicolegn,

First suggestion, wait at least 18 months before considering a revision. It takes that long for full recovery. Secondly, for your own peace of mind, you may like to clarify the definition of "perfect in terms of passing" What properties does a revised vagina have that an unrevised vagina doesn't have?

I'm not certain the guy you finally settle with will have the know how to pick the difference between a revised and non-revised vagina/labia. This may save you some time and money.

Yeah, definitely wait at least 18 months to 2 years; it took me 2 years to see the final results b/c I had a LOT of swelling. But then I was really, really pleased.  I didn't even take advantage of the free revisions, b/c I was already satisfied with the outcome at a year, and then it kept getting better.

Heck, I had a gynecologist examine me without knowing and end up writing a note for insurance purposes that said I was a cis woman who'd had a hysterectomy. (I had to go back to her and out myself and get her to fix it, sigh...)

And I went to Brassard, so I'm living proof that at least *sometimes* he produces results which will pass muster even with the experts. I don't know how often that happens, but my impression is actually that he's very consistent.

well, I deff don't want scars to be very visible but I know it hard to avoid that especially my skin tone is so light. I just don't want to pay all this money for a life changing surgery for it to be not asthetically pleasing. After all this is plastic surgery as well.

Yes it is plastic surgery that has a very, very long healing time.

In doing the surgery it makes for a very damp and humid space.

How you handle the care is what makes or breaks the original surgery.

On the subject of scars. All I can say is "What scars?" It's impossible to see mine, even with a magnifying glass. They're simple not there anymore. And I've cross referenced the site with photos I took only days after surgery. They've gone; vanished.
