PH and hair dye?

I know this may belong in another section but it really has to do with full transitioning.
I dyed my hair today (I'm a strawberry blonde/light brown) and it came out way too dark.
Does a males PH level have something to do with this? The swatch at Sally's Beauty Store matched my eyebrows perfectly.

It isn't a matter of male PH, it is a matter of the color swatch not matching the dye kit and often the color fades a bit during the first week or so. This isn't unusual.

everyones hair has a lot of different colors, depending on how much blue and red you have will affect the outcome.
