My "concoction" is a version of something called bulletproof coffee. It's intended as a breakfast substitute that gives a lot of energy via the butter and MCT oil. You have to blend it because those things tend to separate out. It's supposed to be really good for you and I think it is. I can even do iced coffee but ONLY IF I use Kerrygold butter (a DELICIOUS butter from organic and grass-fed cows) which seems to stay melted much better. Regular butter clumps up in iced coffee even after blending and it's gross.

I have the occasional bulletproof coffee myself as I have mentioned here before. I only did it to lose weight but was not too tremendously successful. I don't understand how some people can drink black coffee. I must have creamer and sugar, preferably Sugar in the Raw.
"There was a sculptor, and he found this stone, a special stone. He dragged it home and he worked on it for months, until he finally finished. When he was ready he showed it to his friends and they said he had created a great statue. And the sculptor said he hadn't created anything, the statue was always there, he just cleared away the small peices." Rambo III

LOL, for me drinking coffee with sugar and milk would be like drinking red wine with sugar and milk, ichhh :)

Ha, this thread again. Reminds me that it's time to go brew a fresh pot to help open my sleepy eyes.

*gasp* but coffee is so so good!!!! You'd like it if you tasted how I make it. I convert people regularly :)
Only drink it black without anything in it. Can't stand it any other way.

Black, preferably Costa Rican, 1/2 tsp honey, please.
April 22, 2015, the day of my first face to face pass in gender neutral clothes and no makeup. It may be months to the next one, but I'm good with that!

Being transgender is just a phase. It hardly ever starts before conception and always ends promptly at death.

I like all 3! And I like cheese with my wine.  ;)  I once asked a coworker about mixing foods and mentioned beer in cereal. He replied "it's not too bad"  :icon_blah:

Wow, that's quite a reaction, I probably drink less and I'm more picky but I still love my coffee :)

When Sweety was pregnant she couldn't stand the smell. Same kind of hormonal upheaval.

Yeah I figured it'd be something like that, it really made things difficult before I came out - being the closest person on the floor to the coffee machine at work, trying to think of excuses.why I randomly had to run out of coffee shops with my hand over my face, that kind of thing

Why?  If you don't mind me asking.  That could be helpful when I start electrolysis...

Hi, having caffeine does increase my sensitivity to the hot needle as she works on my face, makes a big difference having a full stomach and no caffeine the afternoon of treatment for pain tolerance.

Best of luck

Never had any interest in those.

I used to get a piece of cheesecake and a coffee with cream and use the cheesecake as the sugar, now I don't usually bother with the cheesecake although the coffee has to be a decent recently ground brew.

I go off and on coffee, usually because I'm too picky/too broke to afford good coffee continually. Lucky for my picky side, I live in Portland and have a seemingly unlimited amount of local roasters to choose from.

I feel bad though because I'm worries about it affecting my development on hrt...

I absolutely love coffee, all types, but am a bit of a boring cappuccino stalwart. I found out something the other day which may be a bit of useful knowledge to some girls, although it may only apply to some of us or just me. Being an addict (to coffee) my intake was slowly increasing. Around the same time I noticed a lot of hair loss. I did a bit of research, admitedly google based, and it suggested that it could be excess caffeine. I cut down to one proper one in the morning to open my eyes and switched to decaff ( :icon_blah:) for the remaindeer of the day. Within a few days, my hair loss reduced dramatically and all is good again. This may be useful information and appologies if it is all old news.

This is what happens when a smartypants orders a macchiato and gets something they did not expect.

Mine is the cappuccino on the right. Me  ;D Her  >:(
