My mom thinks I should join a local support group?

I don't really want to though for kinda the same reason that I don't like to come here too often. I find that the most vocal people are just like me and complain a lot and I think that a support group will be the same thing.
Trying to take it one day at a time :)

Support groups can be hit and miss, it really depends on the people there, what they are going through and the facilitator. Having supportive, helpful and experienced people involved really makes a difference. Thing is you won't know until you try, it could be more useful than you expect but if it doesn't suit your needs then see if there is another.
