Hi, I'm Johnny. I live in Phoenix, I got a fiance and a couple kids. They have a dog and 2 cats, but I don't claim the animals as my own lol. I work in a special ed classroom, I like to make things with my hands, and I'm really creative.  I'm a pretty regular guy except for that I was born female. I'm in the very beginning stages of transitioning, and just by making that decision for myself and I feel a lot better, like a huge weight was taken off my shoulders. A lot of my depression and anxiety just kinda disappeared. 

It seems so welcoming here.  There are a lot of questions being asked, and a lot of people giving helpful and honest answers.  I'm glad this forum is here.

A big warm welcome to the family Johnny! Yes, this is a very special place that is a breathe of fresh air for people transitioning. All of the advice and experience here comes from real people actually going through all the different stages of transition. This is the most unique places I have ever seen and even though there are trying times and differences of opinion when someone is down or having a hard time everyone comes together. I know that when I did I had this moment of realisation that hit me like "Oh, so this is why I feel like this".
