Hey all

I was wondering if any of you guys might be able to shed a little light.
Before I was on T I drank protein shakes post workout, and sometimes for breakfast before going to work.
I had been reading the fine print on the back label one day and noticed that it read "consult a physician before use if you are receiving HRT..." the next time I was at the store I looked at a couple other brands and noticed that similar advice was given, "do not use if receiving HRT" "consult with physician" etc...
A couple weeks before my first consult with my endo and to get my bloodwork requisition, I simply stopped buying and consuming protein powder. It's not the end of the world if I can never drink a protein shake ever again for the rest of my life, but I'm wondering what the deal is?
these are organic, and stevia sweetened, no artificial flavours/colours etc. Is this simply printed on there for liability reasons? because maybe some guy/gal who had been on HRT died and the cause of death was traced back to one of these products reacting with the hormones?
Obviously before deciding to use these products I will bring it up with my doctor regardless, but I won't be seeing her for a bit. I'm just curious and I can't seem to find any explanations on the internet.
Oh yeah! also I used to take creatine post work out as well. I've never seen any warnings on any creatine brands concerning HRT...the only people warned to speak with a physician are those with kidney issues (not an issue of mine) I decided to stop using creatine at the same time as protein powder just to be on the safe side.
Do any of you use creatine while receiving HRT?
Thanks guys, have a good night!
