emmi/andy

Hi, my name is Emmi/Andy. I'm an androgyne, sort of bigendered sometimes,  still working on it.  I'm 19 and I go to college for music technology, which includes things like working with sound and recording.  I'm from a pretty liberal, accepting family, (they've already accepted me as a "lesbian") but I'm not out to them about this because I don't  really know what to do. I  have a girlfriend who is pretty supportive, even though she doesn't quite understand. I like open source software, third party politics, transfeminism, and things that break binaries.

I found this place by chance and lurked a little while before deciding to join. I hope to find some friends here. :)

Hey ya Emmi/Andy,

Salutations! And, welcome to the Susan Gang!
I'm pretty sure you'll meet a bunch of interesting people here who can help you out with figuring out more and more about who you are. :)
Find me, search me, (and perhaps destroy me..?? :-x) at the Androgye sphere. Hope to see you around. 8)

Oh another bigender (maybe?), i hope you've had a chance to read all the bigender posts on here and see if that sort of thing seems to make sense with you. We would love to talk with you more so feel free to PM, IM Me, or track me down in chat sometimes.

I'm sure if you've been lurking you've probably found your way into the androgyne section. Theres a lot of good stuff in there, so if you have any questions for any of us at all, get asking. :)

Power to my peoples!

Being given the gift of two-spirits meant that this individual had the ability to see the world from two perspectives at the same time. This greater vision was a gift to be shared, and as such, Two-spirited beings were revered as leaders, mediators, teachers, artists, seers, and spiritual guides

Welcome Emmi / Andy

Sorry I'm a little late welcoming you.

There are people here of all persuasions and ages.  There's a lot of information and experiences for you to build on.  I'm happy you have a girlfriend and can be honest about it.  That's the kind of world I want to live in.

It can be difficult explaining the androgyne concept to people.  Even if they appear to understand, most times, it's likely they don't.  But, so what?  That's what it's all about - making ourselves a place in this world.

Welcome welcome welcome,

Rebis

Hi Emmi/Andy!  Welcome!

Like others, sorry I am a little late saying Howdy! and Welcome!

Feel free to ask questions, post comments and generally have a great time...you'll love it here.  And don't forget to hang out around the Androgyne section...all us non-binary folks have to stick together, ya know    ;)

Ya put your right foot in.  You put your right foot out.  You put your right foot in and you shake it all about.  You do the Andro-gyney and you turn yourself around.  That's what it's all about.
