A friend of mine actually sent me this video and said, "if you ever want to piss off any feminists, just like this video." So, I'm watching it, rolling my eyes, and then the T word happens. Someone should come up with a Keeper/Loser Matrix, and while referencing the "danger zone" make sure to include middle-aged entrepreneurs who channel their misogyny into poor attempts at humor. And then the "unicorns" zone should turn the joke around on them: "if you happen to find the 9 or 10 who isn't a total jerk, and is supportive and loving, then you should probably make sure there isn't something they are secretly dealing with and help them become the woman they really are."

My interpretation of men from seeing this and other transphobic stuff circulated in recent months is that, men who haven't been schooled on feminism or aren't affected by it will just see things from their own limited perspectives. Kind of like how highly intelligent people will unapologetically use words like 'retarded' referring (mostly) to actions or situations that one deems as embodying a profound lack of reason. Even I don't pretend to consider myself 100% politically correct.

A modern problem is that socially isolated people gravitate towards tight little subcultures offered by high internet use where their sense of identity and need for distraction/entertainment can be readily gratified by peers in various ways - it is for this reason that the social pressure conveyed by online friends' typed words, media, or voices to accept norms in their shared, insular environment becomes, in my opinion, as much a factor in the dispensation of such rubbish as anything.
