Wow wow wow wow wow.

I'm so excited (if you can't tell)! I remember Andreja tweeting about future documentaries focusing on her life, but that was some time ago- wow.

She inspired me back in 2012, taught me about androgyny and its beauty... androgyny led me to the umbrella transgender term which led me here. Case in point, Andreja was a source of a lot of my reconciliation with myself, and I look forward to seeing this brilliant doc.

Yes, Andreja inspired me too back in 2011, she was the first trans person that I truely got to know, and much of my understanding and strong feelings for the trans community were inspired by her.. I think she is the most beautiful person on the planet, to be honest. <3

Her comments were about Melbourne, of which Broadmeadows is a suburb..

Well, I've not read any of those thing's I guess..?
I've never known her to be unkind or disrespectful publicaly, but she is very sarcastic, and uses quite a few colorful metaphors when she's relaxed among friends, and on her personal Fb page.. And don't we all at times..  :)

"Will the fashion World accept Andreja Pejic as a woman?"

That's really a funny question, isn't it? She looks and acts like a stunningly beautiful, feminine elegant woman from her early start on.

The real questions seems to me : "Would the fashion world have accepted Andreja Pejic as a man?"

Don't think so. She looked like a woman in men's clothes anyway.

At 23, most of her modeling is probably behind her, but she did model for top designers as both male and female.. Her modeling agency says she is the most successful model they've found, both in men's and women's..
From what I know Andreja isn't really hoping for anything in the modeling world, now she's concentrating on a book, and possibly movie work..
Her goals now seem to be more than anything to share her story with the world, and no doubt she's in a perfect place in her life to do that..

That's a lot of cash to raise on 35 days, but we'll see. You're right about her career probably starting to level out at this point, though. The smartest models plan for their post-modeling careers early on. Maybe this is one of her to-do list items.

Edit: Just after leaving Susan's I ran across this lengthy article on Andreja by the New York Times that mentions the doc and has a lot of interview comments by her. They also mention that one of my other fav fashion models, Stav Strashko is now working in New York.

Oh yes, that's a good article..!
I love Stav Strashko too.  :)

Rumors also say Andreja may play one of the sisters voices in the new "Little Mermaid" movie.. That would be awesome..!
She also played a male role as Prince Radu, in Fatih.. (Below)
