Zero T but still high DHT?

Greetings everyone, been a while.

Anyways I was wondering if anyone and I mean if 'someone' here has managed to get some kind of DHT blood test done (as it doesn't seem to be avail here in Sweden) were their DHT values were sky high while T was practically 0?

I know it's a long shot but "deadline" is getting closer by each month, so I wan't to make sure that I'm not making a mistake by say doing and orchy and still being hairy (or hairier, is that even a word?) while estrogen seems fine but does practically nothing due to the High DHT in the body? I'm counting 4 years+ now were all other options (I've gone from patches, injections to pills and now gel).

And frankly I'm quite tired. Tired trying to deal with this, this what I had so long wished for but was denied after just a few months of change. Doctors know nothing, and I even asked about SERM's today (I had an appointment) but that was pretty much the opposite of what I thought it would do... I've been recommended an orchy after I told him about my deadline which at least (And I hope) will somehow push my transition past 4 months of change.

No, mainly because it's not possible. With zero T, you have nothing to convert to DHT.

What AA do you take? For how long? And what makes you think your DHT is high if you can't check it?

I didn't really see any change in body hair for about 8 months, and only then after waxing it all several times.

I've been on CPA since early 2010. And as of now, body hair has just steadily increased to places I never even had terminal hair to begin with.

CPA is an antagonist to the Androgen Receptor - meaning it blocks both T and DHT from binding to the AR. If your T levels are as low as you say, there is almost no T to convert to DHT and the CPA will be blocking the action of what little there may be. So the cause of your body hair is unlikely to be DHT..
