So, as a bunch of you know, I have a boyfriend, a very very sweet amazing accepting wonderful boyfriend, and it's a bit of a long distance thing. We're both in Canada and live close enough that we hop a train and see each other, but we're not in the same province.

Since I've been with my sweetie and started living as a guy (specifically, I'm stealth at my college), I've begun to be a lot more out-going and friendly and just generally really HAPPY. So I've made friends! I have confidence and such! All that fun stuff.

The only drawback, is that I've been getting attention. Positive attention. Like, people getting crushes on me? People have NEVER EVER EVER EVER had crushes on me! And it's neat and flattering, and I made friends with these three guys and we hang out, and one of them is gay and two of them are bi, and like... they all have crushes on me? They all want to go out with me?

But I have a boyfriend, and I don't want to go out with anyone else, and like,
how do you deal with people having crushes on you?
Will I get used to it, after a while?

It's just a really weird, unforseen adjustment for me, cause like, no interest in me for 29 years, and now suddenly I have people left and right throwing themselves at me?  o____O

I have a gay friend who has a crush on me. I certainly don't know why, but he is not shy about it. It makes me uncomfortable because I have a boyfriend. This guy keeps telling me we should hang out, and I keep putting him off. We've hung out a few times with my boyfriend, and he still can't remember my boyfriend's name. I am also not used to the attention, and I still can't get used to this guy liking me, and I've known him for a couple of years now.

I just politely turn them down. I'm married and I tell the guys who like me (a lot of my students dads, btw) that I'm in a relationship. It doesn't seem to be an issue.

I had a lot of lesbians and men who liked me prior to transition too and I just let them down gently the same way. Never had a problem. "I have a partner" seems to cover it before and after.
