Confused about some stuff.

So those of us who have spent any time in a relationship with, or just enough time around cis women have heard them all....from heels and bras being uncomfortable or even downright painful to wear, pads feeling like a diaper and any kind of hose feeling like a prison.

thing is you don't hear a trans woman ever complaining but instead finding them more comfortable than anything else in the world of options to wear. Is this all just part of our dysphoria, or is it another one of those give it time and you will feel the same too kinda things?

There are things I complain about. It's hard to find comfortable shoes that look good, I hate the fact that my bottom is always gooey, shaving my legs is a colossal pain, etc.

But I am positively euphoric to trade my male problems for female problems (which is the way it should have been in the first place, were I not mistakenly born male). That keeps it all in perspective.

I hate heals and stay away at all cost
A pad after 3 solid months is like a diaper,
I shave my legs and no panty hose unless someone passed.
Bra asap I can get it off its off.

Wearing a 44dd bra at the end of the day i am more then happy to remove it. But i would take bras over a stupid tie at any cost. The rest i quite enjoy

I hate heels, and why would I want to wear something that makes me look taller in the first place? Also not a huge fan of bras, but my breasts are small enough that I don't need to wear one most of the time anyway (yay?).

Wearing a bra is uncomfortable by the end of the day, but I try not to complain. I'd rather be slightly uncomfortable from time to time than having to present as a man.

I refuse to wear make up, high heals, or hose unless the situation demands, and yes, at the end of the day feels good to get out of the bra... The long hair is a pain when working outside in the warm weather, and yes, short skirts can be a show stopper under certain conditions LOL

I suppose I am the only one who absolutely loves it all. I love how heels make my legs and body look. I love hose gently messaging my legs all day. I love shaving my legs in a bubble bath with candles going. I adore my long hair even when it gets in my way or is too hot. I love the many looks you can get with makeup. I love shaping and painting my nails. I suppose I am just a hopeless romantic, but even when it is all inconvenient or uncomfortable I still do it as it makes me realize I am not dreaming, but living how I was meant to.  🙂

I think trans women here try their best to post on the optimistic and positive side of honesty. If we dwelled on all the things that suck about being a woman, we may just keep someone who needs to transition from starting towards that goal.

But, my goodness! Plenty things suck about being a woman, and many more suck about transitioning.

Compared to my life before though, this is friggin' paradise.

I completely agree here.  From my experience of living for so long as a male and now 6 months as a woman, that feeling deprived of things all your life, and finally getting to relish and embrace, is completely worth it.  From panties and bras to, shaving, makeup, mannerisms and wardrobe.  All these things are so incredibly wonderful.  Yes, a bra does get hot and at times makes you feel constricted.  But I feel that being trapped in the wrong body was way more constricting then even the tightest and most uncomfortable corset could be.  Shaving is time consuming, but the feel of soft smooth skin is worth the extra effort.  I have no clue what the purpose of a pad would be for, so can't speak of that.  But all things aside, it's all worth it.  Men love it, and I'm not one to disappoint so let the cis girls complain all they want.  Just means its that much easier to get a guys attention then having to compete with them.  I've noticed that most cis girls have become lazy from the way they dress and the way the maintain themselves.  ..Quote of the day, "bois make prettier girls". HA! Ya, I went there.

For me it was a give it time thing. 🙂 I wear heels when forced to (2 job interviews this year and that's it), hate pantyhose, take the bra off with relief... and OMG the gigantic diaper pads, no, I don't miss those!

On the other hand, I'd still rather wear 4" heels with pantyhose and the world's worst bra than ever put on a suit and tie again, so there's that. Early on, when it was the suit and tie I was using for comparison, all that women's dressy nonsense *did* seem like it was super comfortable. It's all about the frame of reference.

Idk I mean I love all of it. Bras, I practically wear one 24/7 minus showers and sex...i even bought forms that are safe to sleep in. Heels, I wear more than anything else when not in guy mode, even if I'm wearing jeans. Pads I don't have much experience with right now. Tights are fracking amazing, especially when paired with the right outfit like a mid-thigh length sweater dress, and an ultra sheer nude nylon can do wonders for your legs. Skirts and dresses, I LOOK for reasons to wear them, especially when I can outdress one of my sisters lol.

that's why I asked, cuz it seems like either in just slap crazy...or the stuff that women usually hate I love every second of.

They never got much of a choice in any of it. Uncomfortable clothes and such were thrust upon them at a young age and they had to cope. Our perspectives can be very different. Whether it be idolization or validation or perhaps just assuming it was much worse than it is, like how seeing a movie someone over-hyped leaves you wanting.

I wear a pad daily due to discharge issues and it doesn't bother me one bit. I love wearing my bra but I do only have almost a cups so it's not like I have a large lump of boobs on my chest weighing me down or anything. Shaving is ok but I'll be happy when I never have to shave again because I do plan on getting laser done one my legs at some point.

I think that it is part of the dysphoria. I tried out all of that stuff and I couldn't stand it. Although I didn't really "try out" the pads. They were required while I was healing up from the orchi and I hated every damn second of that. It didn't make me feel "feminine". It completely sucked.

I believe that if I wasn't a transchick but a GG instead, I would still hate all of these things.

Thing is, it is my daily life. I'm not working because of an injury so I rarely go into guy mode now and if I do it's not for long at all, yet I still love every single second of my day.

I second you on this Jess^^___^^. I love it all myself. I loooove my long hair. When it's hot I just put it up in a pony. Makeup I wear some almost every time I go out. I love putting it on and even washing it off. I wash my face nightly before bed and with good makeup remover i'ts off in no time. Heels, I'll never have enough of them and I love painting my nails both toes and fingers. I'm in a 32B bra and on hot days I just wear one of my silk comfort bra's and sometimes forget it's even there. Besides, I love keeping money in my booby's. I too am a romantic at heart and m for the most part very girly. I love wearing pretty jewelry: rings, bracelets earrings, and necklaces which, like shoes I'll never have enough of. I wouldn't trade one second of it for a million lifetimes pretending to be a guy. I'm just very happy being a girl with all the hangups and trappings that we women consider a part of our normal every day lives.
