A few friends and I in my local community have enjoyed discussing what things we have in common (now and growing up) that others around us didn't. The potential connection that others like us might share has led to some interesting discussions.
Especially the more random things you wouldn't think would have any connection to gender otherwise.

We're all (my friends and I) left handed and nearly ambidextrous, for example.

A friend even pointed out a bathroom quirk she and I shared growing up that cis-men pay no mind to.
I'm wondering if others have random theories of what we may share as a collective. Are they mere coincidence, or perhaps more?

I would to add that this thread is not meant as a validation process or presuming that any are excluded for any not fitting the theories.
(ie. "I'm right handed, maybe I'm not trans* after all")

Just pure and simple postulation.

I am sort of ambidextrous. I can play cricket and some other sports left handed (when I actually WANT to play sports) but I write right handed.

I cry at the movies? But wait, a lot of cis men do that.

Hi...
This might help answer some questions you have, also it's very interesting for everyone to watch..
It deals mostly with sexual orientation, but the info could be used as well seeing similarities and differences in Trans vs. CIS, and Gay vs. Straight...
Hope this helps..

That's interesting. my forefingers are pretty damn long.. Then again so is my foretoe.. Longer than the rest anyway. I wonder if that has any meaning! Never met anyone similar, but I don't look at a lot of feet either..

Well, I'm right handed and not ambidextrous at all... Not sure about other commonalities... I can't get the video to load on my phone.

You're better off imo.. Might just be me but I find her voice a bit grating on the nerves, and videos never site their info.. But she prompted me to research, so yay!
Basically she mentions digit ratios and left handedness differing based on sexual orientation.

Occurrences seem to be higher, which is interesting if true.
Though left handedness will always be a minority, from what I've read, for very fascinating purposes! (Which I won't expand on but will encourage people to look up!)

when i was younger, i felt like my hands were too manly. took learning about digit ratio to understand why, my hands really do look more male than female. it just doesn't have to do with the size, as i thought back then.

i'm also somewhere between right handed and ambidextrous. tasks that take time to learn are harder to do with my left hand, but that's probably mostly because i've taken the time to learn with my right hand. writing with my left hand is almost a complete disaster, but i'm getting better at cooking.
