So my weekend started with going to the mall with friends, the usual shopping and all that.

Here is the kicker, I went out in my usual femmy guy mode. Just very light makeup, but full guy clothes and short boy hair. I don't have the confidence to present as myself just yet. Anyways.. I found out I totally failed as a guy... Everywhere I went people were addressing me as ma'am. I mean literally everywhere including security check lines, the sales girls at the shops, the lounge.. Just everywhere.

This was like a dream come true. I have my big coming out party planned for the coming Saturday. I was so nervous about it.  But now am feeling so much more confident ..  I think I can pull it off.

To move forward is to leave behind that which has become dear. It is a call into the wild, into becoming someone currently unknown to us. For most, it is a call too frightening and too challenging to heed. For some, it is a call to be more than we were capable of being, both now and in the future.

you certainly don't look much like a man in your avatar, and i don't think it's something that shorter hair could fix...
congrats on being seen as who you are.

Thanks so much for your replies :D:D An unrelated question. Do you girls think being size 10 is fat for a girl whose is 5 ft. -4 in .. In height?
  •

JulieBlair

Nope, depends on how you are put together.  Are you happy?  Really skinny isn't very pretty, but how you see yourself matters.  If your BMI is somewhere between 21 and 23 you are in the feminine sweet spot.  Size is not what you should look at too much.

Julie

skin and bones isn't a very soft combination.
soft is the feminine way. at least when it comes to looks.
