STP Smell

Hey guys. Don't know if this was/is a problem for anyone else, but I have had issues with my 1 piece silicone STP starting to smell like urine even after cleaning it. Then someone recommended dish soap! It works great to keep your packer smelling/looking good. Just thought I'd pass along that handy tip!

What do you mean by dish soap? What you wash plates with or something different?

Boiling is also a good method but for those who are careful about their packers yes dish soap is a good way to clean it. Just make sure the specific silicone stp is dish-soap safe.

Okay thanks, here that's "washing up liquid" so thought I'd check. I'll give it a try when I need it.
