I can't find a local therapist--I've researched and asked around. We don't even have any lgbt-friendly therapists, much less gender therapists around here.  So I have contacted an online therapist and am going to give that a try through webcam sessions.  But I'm really ADHD and do much better talking to someone in person, watching body language, etc.

Anyone got any tips, or hints?

Relax and be yourself. I was extremely anxious coming into my first appointment. Occupy yourself with something else to do until almost the appointment time, but make sure you leave yourself enough time so you don't miss the call. Depending on how they have their camera aimed at them you should still be able to see and read their body language. I know I can mine. I hope that helps.
