Which Nailshape and Color(s) make large nails look less large?

Rounded or oval.  I also cheat them by not painting them all the way to the edge to make them look thinner.

Almond or oval help to bring the length/width ratio into a better perspective - As for colors, to minimize width neutral to slightly darker skin tone colors will help to hide the size of the nail

Also, slightly bigger rings.

I hate dark colours on my nails, but every now & then I'll go black
