I have heard of a hair removal clinic in Jackson that only costs 100-200 per cession, but I have yet to be able to locate it. Do any of you live in the Mississippi area and know where this place might be and how can I contact them.

Also I have a few questions about laser hair removal:

1: how long should I wait after begining HRT to start? Do estrogen and androgen levels effect hair follicle response?

2: how bad is the pain? Is it comparable to getting a tattoo or a burn?

Hi Honey,

No idea about  Mississippi.

Hair removal takes ages. Start now. Even before you get close to HRT.

Pain? Laser is like firing elastic bands into the face non stop. Easy to cope with but painful. Ive never had a tattoo but I think it may be similar from what I have seen on TV programs (Tattoo nightmare etc)

Wish I could help, while I've had 7 tattoos, I chose electrolysis over laser because of my hair color.
I didn't think getting tattoos was painful, but oh man, electrolysis right underneath the nose and along the lip line  owie!

As I've always said regarding the pain from tattoos, piercings, electrolysis...no pain, no gain"
