The "chettawut hotel discount"?

I'm not going to Thailand for SRS, but since most people that go to Chett for this reason, this may be the best place to ask.

I'm staying at the Bangkok rama on a cottage, and the price per night as I was told by Ms. Som is of 1,080 THB, breakfast included.

This is exactly the same price as appears in the hotel's website, but... I got this on my first e-mail:

You will also receive 50% discount price from our affiliated hotel.

I'm waiting for an explanation. Another girl that was there thinks that what happens it that you are automatically upgraded to a deluxe cottage. Funny when most of us won't be able to enjoy most of the commodities between bandages, painkillers and dilators....

Does anybody here ever got this discount or something similar?

I didn't go to the cottages, I chose the other route, but I did receive the discount, also got 4 free nights as well 4-5free days/nights free parking, (I didn't want to pack my belonging since I had just gotten situated. I decided to just stay in my room and pay but in the end I didnt) so in the end it it all evened out food and all. Needless to say I was pleasantly surprised. Ms Som only works part time and even when she works it's often outside the Centers stated hours, I received an e mail over the weekend which was sent at nearly 2200 Thai time. I'm booked for SRS with Chett in March and have been having e mail communication with Ms Som for about 3-4 weeks now. I must admit the hotel booking seems to be the area where she slowest in replying. When I get my reservation letter I'll let you know if I get any discount as promised however as I'm staying at Dusit Princess it may be a different system.
