Transgender travel study shows there's work to be done

Broward County's tourism bureau has been marketing to the LGBT community since 1996, but results of a survey released Monday show extra effort is needed to attract more transgender travelers.

I wish they'd given the reason why people found the area unfriendly. I.e. was it just perception, or were they harassed and discriminated against?
