QuestioningEverything

came out to my brother and sister in law as being transgender and that was pretty uncomfortable. they both say they are supportive and are ok with so thats pretty great, they were saying that could tell something was up with me but didn't want to ask until I was ready to talk about it. I was kind of a mess though they were asking me questions and I was barely able to give a straight answer, mostly "I dont know" and "its complicated" so they dont really know that I'm actually planing on transitioning or anything like that, hell I barely know what I'm doing myself! I need to start talking about it more with them but its really hard since I hardly know what I'm doing, I still have a lot of shame, self loathing and anxiety about even being trans that I really don't know how to talk about it without having a mental breakdown. :'( But at least my family still love me!

Congratulations on coming out to your brother and sister in law.  Really pleased that they were both so supportive.  The first time that you come out to someone whose opinion is important to you it is a very big deal and a significant step.  Afterwards you do tend to wonder why you stressed so much.  The great thing is that now you can be authentic and share your thoughts, dreams and concerns with them.  This is a big deal.  You won't feel as isolated, and talking with them will help you process and articulate your thoughts.

Safe travels
