Hello Guys,

Had my initial SRS almost 2 yrs ago and then I had my secondary srs (revision) last 7 months ago to correct some labia problems and erectile tissue issue. After my 2 surgeries, I am still not satisfied with my srs aesthetically.  The technique used in my case was penile inversion.  My initial was with kunaporn and my 2nd surgery was with kamol in thailand.

Now, my question is that is it possible to undergo another revision surgery to extend the labia minora all the way down to the vaginal canal to cover the whole vulva? I know that penile inversion techniques usually have short labia minoras which end just at urethra. Anyone here had the same case and was able to have labia minora extension?

My vagina functions perfectly well but poor aesthetically.

I'd say it is possible, Have you spoken to Dr Kamol? The problem you may face is getting a surgeon to work on someone elses work.

My advice would be to either contact surgeons yourself or their agents asking if they would be willing to do what you require, You will likely either need to send photo's or attend their clinic for a consultation.

If I can help you please let me know

Dr. Kamol was the one did my 2nd operation so I am thinking if going to him again for my possible 3rd surgery. I have contacted him but I'm still waiting for his reply.

I hope theres someone here who had the same case like mine and was able to do labia extension

This is something I explored with Meltzer when I had my labiaplasty back in the day.  I had two concerns about it -- first, like you say, having the labia minora extending the full length of my vulva.  Second, I wanted it to originate not as an extension of my hood, but from the bottom of the clitoris itself.  These were a no-go, as Meltzer explained that there were issues of blood supply that he was not willing to compromise on.

I'm actually still interested in pursuing this if there's an opportunity, so please keep us informed, Chinee!
What you look forward to has already come, but you do not recognize it.

I just spoke to two doctors and both of them refused and said it was not possible anymore

1. Dr. Kamol (who did my prev revision)
    - said the skin is not enough and nothing can be done about it

2. Dr. Chettawut
     - said my vagina looks fine and he does not want to touch it as he is afraid sensation might get affected afterwards

I still cant understand it very well about the lack of skin issue. FTM's when they do their SRS, doctors harvest skin from other area like in thighs or arms etc so why they cant do the same thing to us? Harvest skin from other areas or have a donor? are these really complex or not yet possible nowadays?

That *is* odd about the lack of skin; skin grafts for GRS (for trans women) are pretty typical nowadays. I've even seen in person some donor scars on the thigh from skin grafting for GRS. I'm sorry about the disappointing answer; it was my impression that such a revision to add a fourchette and/or additional labial definition was fairly straightforward.

(My inner labia do reach the vagina but don't meet beneath it; however, although Brassard offers this as a revision to his patients, I haven't bothered. So I can say that he does do it, but I have no idea by what method or how frequently or what the results are like. Sorry!)
