Easiest way to pay Dr.Brassard (USD to CAD) Help ladies who had surgery abroad!

Ok, so it's so confusing with the exchange rate. Easiest way is to go the credit card route but they usually charge a foreign exchange fee which would be about $200 extra for the amount I have left. I did a bank draft but its hard because the bank drafts are in USD and the exchange rate constantly changes. Any tips? Doesn't have to be girls who went to Brassard. Any girls who have exprience in general paying in USD to a place that wants it in their currency.

I used a bank draft. I got two drafts that covered the entire amount so I could get a better exchange rate. I was told that you get a better rate on larger amounts. It still added a couple hundred if I remember correctly.
