I wrote a simple poem today, when I was walking along a quiet sidewalk near a lighthouse
and lake near where I live... I never came up with a title..??
Now, I know it's not exactly right, some of my phrases I got slightly wrong, and can be critiqued as such.?
But hey, it's not that easy to make things rythme on an early Saturday morning when I should still be sleeping in....
Thank you so much,
for this wonderful day,
so I can do what I must,
in my own simple way.
I have no more burden upon my back,
weighing me down and forcing me back.
No more boxes, walls or space,
that I must fit inside of,
to walk in they're race.
I can now walk my own race,
be what ever I choose,
mostly male, strong and tall,
with some female mixed in,
nameless and without labels,
without guilt, lying or shame.
Even though I'm the same,
person I was,
my burden of staying between
the CIS lines is gone,
I'm happy and free,
and totally me.......
