should i do my 1st Electrolysis app thurs if im going out dressed on friday

I am trying to decide whether or not I should schedule my first electrolysis appointment if I am going out dressed to my 1st GT app the following day? I do not live in the area so I have to travel and l want to enjoy my weekend as me. In the future I will only be going for one day so I will be doing both on the same day, any advice would be great! THANKS

Generally you shouldn't shave for a day before electro, and to avoid scaring, infection you shouldn't shave for at least a day or two afterwards. Plus, the area that's been worked on shouldn't have make up applied for a few days. I usually hide myself for a few days after electro. Mind you I have three hour sessions so the unpleasant after effects are a bit more noticeable than they would be from a one hour session, but still.

My skin is sensitive enough to show electrolysis activity for several days after a treatment. On the other hand I transitioned in place so it's not like seeing a facial rash was a surprise, as they(coworkers etc) knew I was having work done.

For me I apply makeup and move on, but that's not full coverage.

Thanks for the info, so I think if I want to have a fun 4 day weekend I should just wait till my next GT app.
