Hi everyone.
I'm a person in my early 30s, located in the UK. Have been lurking for quite a while, and have now been brave enough to finally post.
I'm female-bodied, and living as a woman, but have always been a butch/MoC person. After a long time of consideration, I'm confident I'm not a trans man (despite being pretty chuffed when I pass for male), but have been considering that it's possible I might fall somewhere in the non-binary and genderqueer area.
I'm very fortunate in that I have a brilliant SO, and she is completely understanding of this gender self-querying. Am currently attempting IRL to summon up the courage to socially and legally change my [unmistakably feminine] first name to Alex. (My goodness, there are a
lot of Alexes on here, aren't there? I apologise for my lack of originality in this area, but will raise a glass to them all for their evidently excellent taste in nomenclature.

)
Disclaimer re: screen-name - I am not, and have never been, a serving member of HM Forces. Neither am I even 1% Scots. I am merely an enthusiastic fan of certain works of George MacDonald Fraser, and, as a decidedly scruffy individual, bear more than a passing resemblance to the character.
