Im a 17 year old trans guy and I will turn 18 in may 2015. I really really really need top surgery to be done ASAP. I've been thinking about getting top surgery in the UK. Im from eastern europe and I was wondering if there was a way to get top surgery in the UK without being a citizen of the UK or anything? I have around 2500ish € but how do I pay for surgery since it costs a lot more usually? i might be able to get financial support from my parents but thats not for sure. Also, university will cost money too and I dont know if I will be able to get scolarships or funds and whatnot. Im a rather hardworking student and Im in the IB programme but I dont know what my exam results will be yet ofc. Im just stressed and I dont know what to do. My mind is all over the place. First I need to get a prescription from a local doctor to go on hormones and permission to have surgery but Im doubtful there are many experienced top surgeons where I live. Does anyone know good doctors elsewhere in europe? like finland, sweden, denmark etc? I hope you understand me despite my slightly chaotic ramblings.
