captains, I think it is an excellent question. It is funny because I noticed this exact jock strap when I was looking for the site for Maleth. I think that this one would work very well.
I wear this style jock strap:

The above jock is not the exact one I wear, but what it has in common is the opening above the pocket. I find that if you have the opening, it allows the cock to drop down where it is supposed to be (you pack the shaft inside). Most jock straps result in the packer riding up. With this style jock strap, the shaft stays right against the clitoris, which is where it should be, as gravity allows it to drop down and stay down.
The above is also the only jock strap I have found besides my particular one (which I can't seem to find on the internet right now), in this style (just FYI).
The reason why I think the jock strap you posted would work, is that the shaft sticking through the hole should keep the packer in place.
ETA: Found it! http://www.internationaljock.com/joe-snyder-jockstraps-underwear,4096.html
I use the above jock strap with Mr. Limpy. The RM basic packer works as well. The Stylishflesh Endy also works. I am thinking that the larger packers would not.
As you can see, this one has less material than the American Jock I posted. The Joe Snyder may not be the coolest looking jock strap out there, but it works well and I like as little material as possible, since I am putting underwear on top.
Thank you so much for your help! Like you said, I've been looking for something I can wear under my underwear, but I was completely lost on what would work and what wouldn't, so this reply was very much appreciated.
There are so many different styles, I'm honestly starting to get kind of into this. I'd never considered the option of packing with a jock before, and -- god, I can't even explain why, but somehow it feels like a relief. Buying ~athletic support is a hell of a lot easier than buying a big, bad harness.
