Well this is weird.  I was going into Moe's for lunch and saw my reflection in the glass and just a brief moment I did not recognize myself.  Now I  have  recently dyed my hair blonde and when I saw my reflection I remember thinking what a cute blonde only to realize it was me.  It's kind of a strange validation that not only was I passable to even myself but found myself attractive female.

Wow, Amy, if that picture posted here is you, no wonder you thought "what a cute blonde" in the reflection! Good job, girl! Wish I could look like that!!

Well thank you for that.  The hormones have done wonders too and I'm sure you are beautiful too.

Oh, I wish I could be beautiful, but not in the slightest, but maybe with a ton of expensive surgery and still not be up to your look! I still can't get over how you look. The beauty, the curves, nice and trim! Yes, the hormones certainly have done wonders! Plus, you probably looked fantastic even before that! Great genes!

lol, I've actually had this experience too. It is weird, but leaves you with such a good feeling.

Heh, I sort of did that a few weeks ago. I went looking throught some of mums old photos and found some pics of me 4 years ago. I am nothing like what I was. I am really happy for you .

I've had the same thing happen a couple of times, reflection off windows, etc and I glance and it takes my brain a couple of seconds to realize that it's me, what's really cool is that at that point my brain has already made up it's mind that I'm female :)

This is a very interesting phenomenon that has happened to me a few times myself. It took my brain a few seconds as you say, to realize it was me I'm staring at. I've also had a few instances because I'm lesbian, where I've looked at myself in the full length mirror for too long and got a lil excited, lol! Have to watch that in the future.

Yep, it still happens to me - In the ladies room at work when you go to wash your hands the mirrors work to reflect your back side from an angle. it still startles me every time when I see another woman there that I didn't know was in the bathroom, and I think "nice ass" - and then realize it is me

When I was a volunteer at the European Transgender Council I had a similar thing happening to me. Since it was a TG event I could be "full time" for the whole duration of the event(4 days) without worrying about anything and that was unusual for me as I spent most of my time in boy mode before, because of work.
I had to run to get something and I almost bumped into a girl with long black hair, around my age. Apologized quickly and went on my business, but then I realized that the wall was covered with a big mirror and I almost bumped into the mirror, not another girl. It was a strange but good feeling :)
