Do you think m2f porn stars have gender identify issues or they are in the industry for the money and "->-bleeped-<-" porn is what pays the most. It appears these "->-bleeped-<-s" as they are called in the industry  >:( are over feminized. Don't get me wrong they look great and many of them pass. I for one would not mind looking and passing like some of them. Have anyone ever thought about the sex industry to help pay for surgeries IE SRS BA FFS?

Some of them DO look fabulous, god knows how many of them manage to 'perform' with hormones in their systems! I believe the ass has fallen out of the porn industry as far as big earnings go these days, the internet has killed it to a large degree.

I would rather be a superb meteor, every atom of me in magnificent glow, than a sleepy and permanent planet.

I shall not waste my days trying to prolong them.
I shall use my time." Jack London

Yes. I would take a really good guess and say yes, they are no different than anyone else with gender identity issues. What someone does to make a living, I will never begrudge. If they have a strong enough psychologically to handle it, some cis women can't handle that industry either, then more power to them. They are just normal everyday people regardless of what they do. I know 'cause I have met a few. :-X Cis or trans. It's just they are a little less shy than other girls. The guys though pfft, I don't think it bothers them too much.

But seriously though, for whatever reason they are in that industry is solely up to them. How many girls strip or dance provocatively to pay for college? Or how many girls go into that industry that have made it big and now have their own brands and production companies? But this is just me and I definitely ain't too proud. Vanity is not one of my finer points. ;)

But regardless, they are still our sisters and we all face the same struggles. They just may have a few more admirers than the rest of us do. :)

Girls who do porn/ sex work often are the ones with the greatest amount of dysphoria to be honest. They're doing what makes the quick buck so they can get their surgeries. Trust and believe it has nothing to do with them genuinely wanting sex. I've known many girls who have done sex work to get all of their surgeries so that they can live the life they have in their vision, and quitting the industry.

I've had sugar daddies before, and I've thought about cam. However, I could never be a porn star or an escort. I'm not brave enough, and I don't have the mentality for it. You have to be a really strong woman to do that, and how they do it... I'm not sure. Once you get to see what's behind the curtain, you can't help but to applaud these girls, and admire them deeply.

It's harder to get out of the business, I saw many youtube videos about it from those girls, and after they get accustomed to their rich lives with that type of job, they can't go back to doing normal jobs, and let's say one of them wanted grs, they couldn't have it, because that is something that makes them "special".

I'll be honest, I keep a close eye on that kind of stuff.  :P  I just recently found out Kimber James had GRS. I myself have not thought of doing that to make a buck, not that I could anyways.
"There was a sculptor, and he found this stone, a special stone. He dragged it home and he worked on it for months, until he finally finished. When he was ready he showed it to his friends and they said he had created a great statue. And the sculptor said he hadn't created anything, the statue was always there, he just cleared away the small peices." Rambo III

As others have stated, they get into it because it can pay a lot and transitioning is expensive. Not to mention getting a job as a transsexual can be difficult.

I'm very far from even having to make a decision like that, but I have thought about possibly getting into it to help pay for later surgeries (implants, FFS, maybe SRS). It's at least something I've thought may be worth considering. However, getting out of porn is hard because it makes getting normal jobs even more difficult to get if there is stuff like that on the internet. That's why a lot of those girls probably get into escorting, and while I could probably stomach doing porn, I would never escort.

It's just something I've thought about as a way I could make money later. Who knows. I have other things I need to get done way before that.

I second Jess's comment^^___^^ above, and will go further to say that if I was still young I'd do topless dancing in a heartbeat to raise money for the necessary surgeries I need. I'm just too old to do it now. :D

I wouldn't do any films or full nude tho, I couldn't due to my genital dysphoria.

Inner strength and the conviction of who they are and self confidence. Pride in themselves and just being an all around extremely strong person. And yeah it may be sort of dangerous in the way of STDs and HIV but they get tested quite often now. Being a cabdriver in a major city during the hours of darkness is physically more dangerous than being in the porn industry today. Escorting is a different story unless it is at a "ranch" in Nevada. And then they get tested quite a bit too and take all kinds of precautions. Believe me, I would feel safer being in the porn industry than a taxi driver.
