Can head size change?

So I'm deeply considering FFS with Spiegel in the foreseeable future, though I'd be willing to see someone else who is just as trusted.  One of my biggest issues with my face is my head size...it's on the much larger scale for male and it gets me clocked very easily.  Having 3 consults with Spiegel as well as e-mailing this concern to him, he and his staff have expressed that the surgeries I seek (forehead/brow/hairline and mandible contouring) would make my head look significantly smaller.  He said the forehead surgery would make the biggest difference.

Now I'm wondering if it will just...appear this way as a trick of the eye, or literally be smaller.  I just need it to be within female ranges...I don't expect it to be itty bitty looking obviously.  He stated his surgeries would help to make my oval long shaped head to be rounder.

Can anyone who has had FFS with giant noggins offers any info on this?

Yes, your face will be smaller after FFS and will appear smaller because of the different angles that are created. But if you truly want to change the shape of your skull there is a doctor who does that too. His name is Dr. Eppley and he is in Indianapolis. I actually went to him because he also specializes in reducing the muscle size in the chin.  But he purports to be able to reshape the skull and i guess make it smaller.

It is more to do with reshaping than reduction. The issue with reduction is you still have to fit your brain inside your skull. They can't make it all that much smaller for that reason.

Hmm yeah, maybe that's going too far.

If I can get my head size looking within normal female ranges just with FFS, I should be ok, and according to previous posts it would make my face look smaller apparently.
