Hello,

I'm Jennifer, I'm new here and I could really use some help regarding my measurements.  I've been on spiro for about 4 months and, I am starting oestrogen tomorrow and I wanted to get a picture and all my measurements before-hand so I can record and track my progress.  I'm having issues getting accurate measurements though.

I've tried measuring my bust and band sizes, and I've been reading different things about where to measure the band size.  I've been getting measurements that seem ridiculous, like a bust size larger by over an inch.  My spiro has increased my breast size a tiny bit, but I don't see how they could even be close to an A cup in size.  I'm told to measure below my breasts for the band size, which is where I get these results, one site said to measure above (under arms) and in that case my band size was about an inch larger than my bust size.

I'm not entirely sure where to measure for my waist either.  I tried measuring above my belly button around the narrowest part, and I've measured below my belly button where the waist band of my pants rests at.  I get about an inch shorter above my belly button than below my belly button.  Normally I'd just measure the part where my pant's waistband is and leave it at that, but most sites say to measure above the belly button at the narrowest part.  I thought I read somewhere that HRT kinda moves the waist line up a bit?...but I feel like I misread because I can't find it even after like an hour of google searching.

Thanks for any help you can offer ^^

I've been using this as a guideline. As long as you keep it consistent I don't think it matters too much.

- Chest: Measure under the armpits, above the area of the breasts.
- Bust: Measure around the widest part of the back, straight across the fullest part of the bust. (See below for important details on our breast measurement technique)
- Ribcage (underbust): Measure under the area of the breast.
- Waist: Measure your waist approximately one inch above the navel.  This is the female natural waistline, the smallest part of her waist. During successful hormonal feminization, this will become your natural waistline.
- Hips: Measure around the fullest part of your hips. Put your thumbs at your natural waist and rest your hands on your hips. The tips of your fingers should be the area at which to take the hip measurement.
- Butt: Measure at a point just above the pubic area and over the area of your buttocks.
- Thigh: Measure the fullest area of your left upper thigh.
