A Very Happy Hello

After years of lurking, it is very past due to introduce myself.  I am transgender and I knew from a very early age that I was female.  But it wasn't until last year in my late thirties that I started HRT.  I have been on HRT one year now, and I am pleasantly surprised at the results.  Enough that I sometimes get mis-gendered in male mode.  It has made me immensely happy.  I work in high tech, but I also love flying.  I am not out at work yet, but I am planning for that to happen in the Spring.  I am very lucky to have a workplace, that is not only supportive of my transition, but they are excited about it.  My friends have been supper supportive.  Surprisingly I have also made new friends and that has been a special experience.  I am excited now about joining this community where great things will happen.
