Aleph

Hello from the far reaches of Canada,

Good Morning everyone, I hope things are going well. I am Rei, though I often go by Thea. I'm a Nova Scotia person (though I am actually from Florida originally) of Spanish Gypsy decent. I've actually only started pursuing becoming a proper girl after a bit of a crack at University, though I knew I was since I was about 14. Of course when I was 14 I had the foolish notion to actually mention it to someone in the intolerant state of Mississippi. That got me into a lot of fights. Ended up having to biff someone in the head with a rock in self-defense (Glad to report that other then a few cuts everyone was quite alright). I figured that could have been handled better and decided to study fighting and to learn to keep my mouth closed.

Time passed and now I am a spry twenty something and this gender identity issue seriously started effecting both my concentration and my energy level. This was remedied to a decent degree by having two people actually accept me as I was. My current Boyfriend (though him not yet being very physically attracted to me yet is tortuously frustrating. He's sweet, but very cis gender by nature.) and a mutual friend. Though our second accepter is a dubious character, it is still a nice gesture. Still working on telling the single parental. I got her to stop being Catholic, and actually worked her over to becoming Athiest. However, long held morals are long held and there is a lot of unpacking to do there.

Well, time to cut myself off before I come off super long winded.

Cheers,
Aleph

Wow. That was really fast. Thank you Grace. And it wasn't such a big leap. I have moved very progressively north one state at a time. So it was more of a skip then a single great leap.

Cheers,
Aleph

Thank you everyone,

Quite nice of all of you to come around. And yes Mrs. Izzy I would quite love to learn as I am a total novice and know almost nothing about anything other then voice training that is more a result of choir training rather then pursuing my proper gender. Likewise I am quite adept with hair because culturally it has alway been acceptable for me to have hair to my shoulder and beyond. Still, there is no reason you can't do two fun things at once. I'll have to learn how to do the body right though. That is something I'll definitely need advice on. I'm sure I know nothing of matters of proper make up use either.
