Tricks to "pass" when your face doesn't allows you to...

Please don't make this a discussion about the word "pass" and the social-pragmatic-semantic-contextual definition. You know what I mean.

The problem is that I'm Venezuelan, and college is very much against any sort of gender-nonconforming people.

All my money is spent on hormones, and I rarely get money, it's almost impossible to find a job or scholarship here when you're like this, neither health care. What I mean with this is that I won't be able to get any makeup.

I've managed half-passing by changing the boys cloth shape to be more like an hourglass, and as I've been growing boobs for some years the shirt creates a really nice girl shape, but once someone looks at my face, puff... I become "the girly dude with boobs" instead "another tomboyish girl", if someone doesn't get my face they think I'm a girl.

Also if I can manage to do this, I could grow my hair longer (short hair for guys rule), and maybe go with girl clothes which would be like a dream.

What I actually do is use my hair to hide my face as much as possible, tweezing and perfect shaving (even when I don't have much facial hair because they weren't fully developed when I started hormones), but still, it's quite boyish, I hate it.

I'm 19, BTW.

Use a wig or hair where bangs cover your forehead as much as possible. I've found the forehead and eyebrow ridge are strong giveaways.

Also, have your wig or hair "frame" your face. If you have long hair on either side, it can give your face a more elongated and less square shape.

Good luck, Felishia. I thought I could never pass, but it didn't take much effort.
Have you read my short story The Eve of Triumph?

I do cover my forehead with my current hair, actually I can't barely look at things... there's hair over my eyes.

And if I'm caught using a wig at college, meh, that'd be a disaster, I don't want expulsion, I need to do it with my current hair.
