Does the Yeson surgical technique or Glottoplasty in general put greater tension on the vocal cords than for example a regular CTA.?

I dont think so at all. CTA aims to put tension on the vocal chords, thats the whole point. Glottoplasty should not change the tension that much at all, as there is nothing pulled in the length. I think while breathing, there may be a bit more tension (When the "V" is wide open), but when speaking (when the "V" is closed) there should not be any more tension than without surgery actually.

Thats my opinion. Anyone else? Amy maybe, -she seems to be the expert on this ;)
