Hi all!

I've been on HRT for 8 weeks now, and I'd like to share my experience so far.

First of all, I want to say that the psychological effects alone have given me a bit more confidence in myself. Before HRT I was always really tense and anxious, and always fretting about some random thing or another--it seems hormones have attenuated that anxiety a bit. Maybe as I start to go full time it'll get even better :)

As for the physical changes, I've put some pics below for reference. There hasn't been anything major yet, but I can definitely sense a difference. The only things that I've noticed for sure are that the texture of my skin feels like it's changing, my breasts have gotten much larger (they're actually visible through my shirt now), and I'm getting some gradual hair regrowth around my hairline. I feel happy with the way that things are progressing so far, but I hope to goodness I get more changes later on :) Perhaps the biggest difference hormones have made in my face is that I'm having an easier time smiling now! At this point I've decided that I'm not going to get FFS, since I won't need it to pass, but I still want to learn to do make-up and eyebrow plucking and things like that so that I can look my best.

Wish me luck on the rest of my transition!

I like your face. It is very feminine looking. I can't comment on Hormones as I have not yet started nor been diagnosed.

One thing I tell my Wife however when she takes selfies is to not look at yourself but at the actual camera lens. We have discovered they look much better when you look at the lens as you snap the picture, because with selfies, a lot of people tend to not genuinely smile because they are more focused on the right angle position of the face when they say "Cheeeeese". ;)

That's good advice, and thank you! I have noticed that my selfies tend to look like I'm either cross-eyed or looking down. The camera lens is so hard to focus on when the picture of you on the screen right beneath it haha.

Here's one where I'm looking at the lens. It does make a big difference :)

I remember seeing your pictures before! It was when you said you thought you were not looking feminine enough. Didn't agree with that but I got to say, you now smiling and looking happy really adds a lot to making yourself only the better. Keep smiling ^^.
:D Want to see me ramble, talk about experiences or explaining about gender dysphoria? :D

You look beautiful! I am from the Caribbean and I can tell you that you'd just blend right in there right now as-is.
