Songs to listen to when down?

Recently I've been feeling a bit down, so I've been wondering what kind of music do you guys listen to when you're feeling a bit in the dumps? Happy music? Sad music? Those What are you doing with your life type songs, that have no rhyme or reason?

I like songs with lyrics that seem to express the same sentiment I'm feeling at the time. I can't listen to happy music when I'm not happy. I need something that speaks to my current feelings. It helps my emotions "vent" in a way, I suppose.
