letter and first appointment

I got my letter and first appointment. Its the week of thanksgiving. I get to go to Atlanta on Monday and then back either after or on Tuesday as thanksgiving is going to be here.

I feel very fortunate since I'm 100% out and I've gotten a lot of respect in Alabama of all places. However this is Huntsville. We have an army base and as a result its a true melting pot. I'm told it might change if I go 20 miles in any direction.

congrats! i don't know huntsville that well, but i feel like being in a city is definitely an advantage to rural alabama. i'm from louisiana and i'm so fortunate to live in new orleans and not else where in the state.
