How did you feel? Were you completely knocked out or where you able at some point to have a conversation with someone (in my case it would be my mom). Did you just been in a funk or were you able to be up for a little bit?
Got my surgery in my early 20's, now in my mid 20's living stealth

*Right* after surgery, like in the first hour out of the recovery room, I was conscious and coherent and able to talk... between barfing. :) Once the anti-nausea drugs kicked in, I felt exhausted and sleepy but basically fine mentally.

I was up and out of bed and walking a little bit by about 18 hours after, as were most of us.

Good luck!!

What Jenna said.

I did not get sick to later at night. For me I think it was the morphine more then anything.

But keep talking to a minimum first few hours.

All will be good.

Comfortable, wide awake, in good spirits and totally lucid. Actually even tried some lines from the Waking up after SRS thread.

Didn't start feeling bad until later in the day when I began cramping up because I had to stay still.
Have you read my short story The Eve of Triumph?

I nearly died from blood loss. I had to have four units put in me.

But after that I was fine.

I was aware of my surroundings and even asked the Dr how everything went, they thought I might need a graft. I got a little motion sick in the elevator though.
