Don't be put off, I've only just seen this thread due to FFS only just becoming something I want. You look great and should be proud of having the courage to try again after an FFS that didn't work.

I have been considering a trip to the guy you mentioned in Mexico as is my partner. If it's not too painful to recall could you tell me more about what went wrong in a private message please. I'm not looking to dig dirt on anybody but if there are real problems I don't want to spend over $20,000 that has taken years to earn and then look worse than I do now. Living in Sydney the trip to Argentina is no more difficult than one to Mexico

Again you look great and I hope the further surgery goes as well.

Hugs

Hi Sorcha, I did send a reply to you explaining everything quite a while ago, did you receive it?

So many people on this board going to Buenos Aires for their ffs. SorchaC, you'll have plenty of posts to help you make your final decision. I'm still trying to get my 15 posts so I can actually start a thread with pictures because I leave next week. Excited!

You don't need fifteen posts to add photos to posts, that restriction applies to avatar pictures only. You will need to use an image hosting site though, I use photobucket.

Hi!

1st of all, this is a very interesting and enlightening thread, for all of us interested in FFS, specially for eyebrow bossing, thanks a lot for creating it! Please do keep all of us posted on your progress!

2nd of all, I keep reading about "the guy in Mexico", and I can't quite understand why nobody mentions his name. But if you gals are talking about Dr. Lazaro Cardenas Camarena, I DO NOT recommend him for any bone-related FFS work and you may PM if you want any further explanation on why. This person and his team seem to be geniuses at advertising Dr. Cardenas everywhere on the internet as a competent FFS surgeon, next to the real pros in America, Europe, Thailand and South America, but he is nowhere close to them, IMHO and real surgical experience. So I would advise you to spend a bit more money maybe, BUT GET REAL FFS RESULTS, as opposed to saving and not getting the desired results, because you are not going to hire a real expert, instead you are going to hire a person who is very good at advertising his services everywhere, but doesn't have the skills to deliver.

Cheers

Hi Bibi
Yes your are absolutely right on all the points you've made, and yes it is about that surgeon. We cannot be too strong in condemning him, as this thread might get closed, and that would be a shame for everyone who is in need of this kind of information.
Dr Rossi did a fantastic job of correcting the terrible mess that the aforementioned surgeon created. Im now awaiting a skype consultation next week, with Dr Rossi, regarding the revisions, which I am hopeful will happen very soon. I will keep you posted.

I will resend the info to your PMs, and also with a link to a lovely apartment that I stayed in, that was a really great price, and only 3 mins walk to Amanda's apartment.
You are going to love Buenos Aires. I went to watch a little musical rehearsal at the "Teatro Colon", it was fantastic. The building is just magical.
I did so much touristy stuff while I was there, I almost forgot the reason why I was there. Although I went over there for something that was not such a pleasant thing to go through, I did have a wonderful stay.
P.S The Tango shows are great,......... I cant wait to go back   :)

Ever

Based on your recommendation and have great you look, I've looked into Dr. Rossi and am just about ready to book the appointment for early August.  I would also quite appreciate knowing what apartment you stayed at!

Hi Firestarter,

I'm posting here because I noticed you talking about your revisions with Dr. Rossi in another recent thread. I like your avatar pic! I'm curious about what you got for your revisions and how you're healing :) You sound very happy! Maybe you could give some details about how it all went.

Hi Ruby, I've just sent a really long and informative, private message to you. I decided not to put it up publicly on the forum, as things are becoming complicated and I do not want to upset anybody involved.

Hey, I saw your recent posts in another thread.  I have not seen you since right before your last surgery.  ( the great thing about this forum is meeting people in person during surgery stays :-) ) .  Do you have any recent photos, maybe even CT scan?

I can't remember what revisions you were having.  The only I issue have is I feel Dr Rossi was not aggressive enough on my upper lip lift, that's pretty minor considering the amount of work I had done.  :-)

Hi Diana. After the revisions in October to my chin and jaw, two hard lumps formed under where my chin meets my jaw, one either side. My doctor said they were fibrous lumps. I kept Amanda informed, and when it got to a point where it was becoming painful and restricting my head and neck movement, I decided to go back. There were a couple of other things that needed to be looked at, so it wouldn't be a wasted trip. Amanda organised everything at such short notice, the only thing that she could not be sure of was a surgery date, but I was desperately anxious, so I took a chance. I caused Amanda quite a bit of stress, which wasn't fair of me, and I was so sorry to her for doing so. When I saw Dr Rossi he agreed with what my doctor had said. He also thought that the bottom of my face looked a little too square to him, which was also one of my concerns. He wanted to taper the jaw a little, in the same surgery of cutting away the fibrosis. The surgery is tomorrow, I've had to wait a while, but it's my own fault for coming at such short notice. While I'm here in Buenos Aires I'm going to the hair transplant establishment that you went to. Anyway I'm going to attach a couple of photo's and my after surgery CT Scan. which I only had done because they were so cheap in Buenos Aires, compared to back home. I needed the scan for when I get my nose done in the UK or Greece in the near future.

Sorry I did put a CT Scan image up, but it does look a little bit scary, so I thought that it was better to take it down and PM it to anyone who would like to see it. I've sent a couple of images to you Diana, along with a further message.

I wish you the best outcome for your surgery today.  I know you weren't expecting to be back in BA so soon.  From reading your post it does not sound like you are getting any forehead work, which means you don't have to wait as long post surgery to get hair transplants.  Dr Bruno Syzferman is a great hair transplant surgeon.

Hopefully you will have someone to chat with in person.  I know how nice it was to visit with you while I was in BA.
