A week ago I had my surgery. I recovered quickly, they said they never seen such speedy recovery. Until they removed the drains, catheter, bandages and stitches. I went to the toilet, and I could not pee. I was scared! I tried ten times to pee. I could not. My surgeon told me that the area around the catheter was darkred/black, and still very bloated, hematoma and apparently it blocks the urinal tract somehow.
So... he then said: we need to put the catheter back in! omg... you got to be kidding me... I was so glad that it was gone, and now it has to get back in. Well, they did it. And now I walk with a short catheter and a valve to relieve myself every 2 hours. I need to carry it for a week, and then the surgeon will move the catheter.
It really brought me to tears knowing that I still not functioning the way it should. I was so scared...
Does anyone have any expiernce with this?
