Playing with a neat Noise set up involving a couple of delay/loopers run together. Who needs drugs when you can trip out on manipulating/destroying audio interview footage?!  :D ;D

My final college transcript and records now changed over the proper name and gender. I have no more records that are possible to change. It's so nice to finally have those changed over.

Congratulations Mariah  :icon_bunch:

It's a lot of work getting everything changed over but oh so satisfying once it's done.

CalmRage

just shot a video of me playing guitar and singing. I never realized how much into it i really look.

One thing made me laugh though. I have this habit i don't always think about, i tend to bite my lip for no reason. Also, me pulling some faces that weren't put on, but just because i completely gave into the songs. The audio isn't the best, but i can still hear enough. Also funny is one part where between two strums i quickly readjust my glasses.

Songs i played:

Forever Young
Tangled Up In Blue
If You See Her, Say Hello
(some bull->-bleeped-<-ting around involving the words to Boogie Chillun, Mistreated etc.)

I had to get up at 5:00 am (no that's not what made me happy), and shaved shortly after. It's now 11 hours later and my beard shadow, while visible, isn't feeling too terribly rough. This means that when I can afford the right makeup and learn to use it I'll be able to pass all day! This is great 'cause it will be some time before I can afford a more permanent solution.
April 22, 2015, the day of my first face to face pass in gender neutral clothes and no makeup. It may be months to the next one, but I'm good with that!

Being transgender is just a phase. It hardly ever starts before conception and always ends promptly at death.

I managed to kick my sickness' butt and if nothing happens during the night I can take part in the prerelease games after all! ;D

Now I'm just left with this lovely raspy/hoarse bedroom voice...

I debated where to place this, but I felt sharing it with all would be better. One of my Uncles who had been routinely gendering me wrong for the last year and then kind of avoid gender related to speaking to me. I wished him Happy Birthday like I always do and took special care to not say Uncle only because i didn't want to place him a spot to fail. Yet he responded with "Thank You my niece Mariah" This made my day maybe year just because he has come along way in his handling of my transition.

Rainbow Dash

Star Trek Renegades premiered in LA on Saturday. I was part of its visual effects team. Apparently we did more visual effects shots than Terminator 2. A lot more. Anyway, from what I was told, it got a standing ovation.

So I can now say with pride that I had my name up on the big screen and I can brag that Pavel Checkov has had a scene in my building. That's right, Walter Koenig, one of the last of the Original series actors.
Dream come true. :D

Venom

My new binder arrived, it's a GC2b half top and fits perfectly! It's so comfortable, even more so than the sports bras I wear! Compared to my old binder they're worlds apart (and the old one was great). The old one compressed my stomach and made doing things like bending over and sitting down uncomfortable. The fabric is nicer on my skin, though it tends to roll up at the bottom. Not too much of an issue for me, and it seems to bind better than my other one (perhaps because it's a half top, not a full top and my belly masks my chest better since it's no longer being compressed). I'm happy with the purchase and I'm already considering another one!

Postage was fairly pronto too, exactly two weeks from the time of purchase from USA to AUS. :)

I've started writing again and it's going well.  Since I've just come out of a long dry time of not being able to write mostly due to the effects of the illness I live with I'm taking this as a good sign that my health is starting to improve.
I won't bore you with plot descriptions or anything because there is nothing more boring than a writer who is pregnant with their next book, but I will say that I'm happy and it feels pretty darn good.  :D

I bought my first skirt and dress as Cyndi today.  It felt great and I almost cried while trying them on in the changing room at Value Village.  I also helped out a friend make a homemade binder out of a tight T-shirt and some Saran Wrap.  It worked well and she seemed to like it.  She will try using that before she can purchase a real binder.

I  found .20 cents., earned a dollar, brought Splinter Cell: Blacklist for $8.50, and had a customer be really nice to me today.

My mother started using my name out in public. She still slips up at home and uses my birth name, but it's a start!

Rolling in? You're going as Violet Beauregard?
