First time in public

Hi everyone! I've been away from the forum for a bit, because of reasons.

A few weeks ago, I had my first time out in public as Mandy. I've been going to my best friend's house once a week, but that doesn't really count so much. We didn't feel like cooking dinner a few weeks ago, and so went to the local fast food type place. I was only out for about five minutes, but it went really well, and... we got excited.

So, plans were hatched to have a nice dinner out, to celebrate one of our little trio's finishing their honours thesis. Fancy new clothes were bought, even (my best friend and I both got new dresses).

Last Friday night, we went to one of the fanciest restaurants in town, with a great view and amazing food and service. Nobody even batted an eyelid! It seems, that for an entire evening out, including talking to waiters and the like, I passed, completely passed.

I'm sure many of you know how much I'm glowing, after that...
