Hi Evolving Beauty,
Vaginal sensation depends on how long your post. Generally speaking the longer you are, the better sensate you should become. (Less swelling/better nerve reconnections/healing etc) Which may take 12 months or longer.
There's nothing wrong with being sensate in the clitorus, that just one or several erogenous zones. Given the fact there are fewer nerve endings in penile skin (inversion technique) than a homogeneous vagina, it may be overly anticipating a response from a region that can't supply the perception.
If vaginal penetration can reach the prostate, then you may be able to heighten the opportunity to orgasm. Refer to my suggestion in your other post, about orgasm techniques from Lonnie Barbach. Another suggestion, again dependent on when your surgery was, check with your Endocronologist what all your hormone levels are (E, P, T, & prolactin)
Remember, this is all new territory you are sailing in.

P.S. I've been vaginally sensate since week 3. To the extent, dilation has been a very erogenous activity.
