A look at famous women and how they have aged. Some still look stunning and others look like they have not taken care of themselves.

Time has definitely been good to some and the others well... who am I to judge.

That is quite a fascinating study in the effects of aging (and also, no doubt, in some of the extraordinary techniques used to resist its effects, from the look of some of them).  Many of them look very beautiful in their older incarnations, in my opinion; time has lent them a dignity and grace that shows:  Jessica Lange, Jane Fonda, Madonna, Sally Field, Diane Keaton, Sharon Stone--lovely.  And I loved the older Grace Slick with her gray hair.  Made me smile.

Would be interesting to see one of men.

Madonna and Christie Brinkley still look as good as their younger days. Actually better, I'd say. Some women get sexier as they age.

Some of these women actually look much better as they aged. Others really let them selves  go. Example, they have gained a lot of weight.

Most of the aging comes the SUN SUN SUN, I see heeps of sun damage!!!
When the sun has done enough damage, no resurfacing can help (the skin sags and folds). I've seen very old women 90, that look better than some of those actresse's skin in their 40's!!

Also, most that look like crap have gained mucho weight and their face has ballooned up.

Some of those that look best, like Madonna obviously have stayed away from the sun and have got skin resurfacing done, one or several times.
Bette middler and Raquel Welsh skin have the obvious signs of a resurfacing. I've seen quite a few.

I've got the opposite of what most people have, my mouth protudes beyond the cheeks and I've got very high cheekbones which stops the naso-labio fold from forming a deep fold, my father is the same, he's got the same depth of fold as a person 55 but he's 79, I have a fine fine from nose to mouth since my late 20's, hasn't changed at all since then.

Botox can't help what many of those people have, there's too much damage, they need a whole program of fat injections, various fillers, face lift, deep peels, laser resurfacing or fraxel. Then, for whatever dynamic folds remain they can use botox. They have the money to do it. But, even with all that, not all the sun damage can be undone.

The one who looks the best for her age is Raquel Welch!! She's what, 60 now!

ROFL!  We went to see one of her shows in Vegas a few months ago, and she is indeed terrifying... "cuchi cuchi all the way!"   LOL  ;D

One of the pretty ones who has gone horribly ugly is Lauren Hutton.  I don't know if it is the sun or the many drugs she took but she does look terrible.!

It must be the photo, I met Lauren Hutton three years ago and she looks fabulous in person.
