MrSeahorse

Hello, everyone. I'm a pre-op, pre-t, and relatively out transguy. I am also poly; I live with my girlfriend, John, and our two daughters. We are trying to get me pregnant (we just want one more!) with limited success. My girlfriend suggested I join because I need a bigger trans-friendly community and more trans friends. Also, I'm hoping to meet more trans parents! I moved in when our toddler had just turned 2, and now her use of gender pronouns has broken down completely. (She assigns them at random.)

I'm glad to be here with all of you!

Mr. Seahorse,
a big warm welcome to Susan's place. There are many very wonderful people here that are willing to help you out in any way that we can. There is a vast array of information along with some very valuable resources to be found on this site. I welcome another brother into our family and certainly hope to see you around the forums. Everything is right at your fingertips, so pull up a chair, relax and let your fingers do the walking. I wish you nothing but the best of luck in your journey and good luck getting pregnant may the Angels always look upon you and help guide you on your path.

Hugs,

Melissa Ann

Our older kid is 5. I've known her since she was a month old, and she knew me as female first. When she was 4, I changed my pronouns. She changed over almost perfectly, and she has only asked a few questions:

Are you a boy or a girl?

Why does he sometimes sound like a girl?

Wait. You can CHOOSE whether you're a boy or a girl?

She asks them every few months and wants slightly more detailed answers. It probably helps that John identifies as non-binary. He uses male pronouns, is bio-male, and goes by "Auntie."

Good luck!
