I work in a TAB agency (it's a betting shop)
When I started at my present venue I told my boss I am trans and taking female hormones. His reply
"You need any time off now?"
"Uh no, I'm just telling so you know"
"Ok"
New conversation

So yay two steps forward.

Few weeks ago after we have been having some problems and the two of us are playing phone tag with head office.
"Yeah if we have anymore problems contact this name and number. You have already talked to him, he told me he was dealing with the girl there. I told him you where a guy

Head hits desk two steps back

People and techs from head office see me and gender me as female

yay two steps forward

This weekend a punter was trying to sell me a top
"Why not Gypsy girls were tops?", boss takes a look at me mentions they would probably fit me
"Ok then how about some makeup?"
"WHAT!!?"

Shakes head walks away two steps back. (for the record I didn't buy anyhing I just heared I'm broke, I want to bet and drink give me money)

I love the job the location and my boss, (He is sweet but cluelss sometimes). The responsiblity I have here is great, when we have other staff I'm always the senior staff member regardless of age or experience. Last week he told his father that I'm the one that fixes all my mistakes. But sometimes he just wants to make me want to scream. On the plus side while I'm still being gendered male by the punters who knew me when I worked here a few days a week,(it can be too busy to have a proper conversation with people at times). New people coming in are seeing me as female, my bosses father who I worked with on Tuesday gave me another womens work polo and my boss does agree they do fit me better then the mens one. (Yay hormones)

Sometimes I just don't know what to do. I only work with one day a week, and that is our bussiest day not a day for a propper discussion. The rest of the time it is a quick count the draw this is done this has to be done I'll see you tommorrow. Head just wants to hit desk sometimes :eusa_wall:
What do I do any help please

It is understandable that some things are frustrating but from what I read they only know it since recently, even so they treat you as a woman, accept you as one but still make mistakes. At least they are trying so I would just let it go with the flow. Maybe it needs time?
:D Want to see me ramble, talk about experiences or explaining about gender dysphoria? :D

True it has only been a few months. While nearly everyone new who interacts with me now, (in person or on the phone) see me as female. My boss will continue to correct them, it just seems like he has completely forgotten our conversation. (As I said he is sweet but clueless)

Would a written memo get the point across? I'm thinking he doesn't know what you meant by taking female hormones.  Blank spot in the intelligence part of his brain.
