So this has been a thought I was wondering if I was alone on , im 25 intersexed transsexual , im self employed I vote republican, I know there is some standards wrong with the party when it comes to marriage but when it comes to my purse I just cant vote democrats am I alone in this

Not at all.

I am a gun owning, concealed carrying, pro law enforcement, pro American, pro Israel, pro life, church going and pro business registered Republican myself. I do vote for libertarian leaning candidates myself though.

I can't vote for Democratic candidates either. I have seen what they have done to NJ and while they are excellent on LGBT rights here they are awful on nearly everything else.

However -

I am 100% for clean energy such as wind and solar. However, I am not for making solar panels by dumping lead into the environment, and I'm not for killing birds with windmills or clearing forests to build solar farms.

I believe 100% that global climate change is real. I do not believe cap and trade will do anything other than put money in Democratic party and friends' pockets. So, drill baby drill, but let's make cars more efficient and harness carbon free energy such as solar, wind and nuclear.

I am 100% for religious freedom. As a Catholic myself, I want my church to decide its own moral compass, not the Government. However, everyone should have equal rights. The right to marry, the right to adopt, and yes, the right to use the bathroom!

I am 100% for gay rights. I am of course 100% for rights for people of transgender experience. Everyone should have a right to marry. Where I draw the line is where it forces private businesses or religious institutions to do things. I believe the market will take care of the haters for the most part, and religion, is, well, religion.

I believe that armed gays and trans people don't get bashed.

I believe that health insurance should be accessible to all. However a government bureaucracy isn't the answer. Market based solutions can work with light Government mandates, but not a heavy hand. The ACA is somewhat like that but it had so much things put in by the insurance companies and friends of politicians that it actually makes things worse.

And no I would never vote for Ted Cruz or anyone who criminalizes my daily life... I wouldn't vote for Chris Christie either even though I voted for him for Governor. He's better than the alternative.

Many people who are trans* find themselves in a connumdrum about politics.  Some of us who are older struggle with the baggage of having been conservative politically until we came out to ourselves.  Sadly, many "conservative" politicians find it useful to throw trans* under the bus to advance their own vested interests.  So deciding who to vote "for" becomes a really challenging effort.

To be really fair, Democrats also do this. Just sayin.

I know a trans Republican.  She confounds me.  I just don't see how anyone LGBT could identify with the right wing.

I am a strait up Commie Vegan transsexual

I love politics.
